As most of you probably know, this past Sunday was Easter. I don’t really practice a religion, but Easter has always been a time when I’ve gone to church with my whole family. This was the first year that I haven’t been around for that to happen. It was also a little heartbreaking to have missed the one day where I can wear a totally pastel outfit. But my mom did her best to bring Easter to me, and I definitely appreciate it. It started with the window clings she sent me a few weeks ago.
Then, when I picked this box up from the front desk (which is where they hold all USPS packages, as opposed to leaving them by our front doors to get stolen, like UPS and FedEx do), the secretary pointed out the little blades of Easter grass sticking out of the box.

Viola! Easter! |
My mom sent me an entire Easter basket in this box. I don’t even know how I’m going to eat this much candy. I’ve been pouring jelly beans into my pocket every day at work for the past three days.
I still have about a bajillion left, and we have inspections tomorrow so I have to get them off the counter, which means I have to eat them all. Oh well! After making a pit stop at Mickey’s Retreat to meet some of Devin’s friends, I went to work. And that was my day. I just got a cool new hat that we can wear when I work at certain shops.
I also went to Ikea for the first time last week. WHY DIDN’T ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT IKEA? It was like a big beautiful dream. And we got a lamp. Bye, y’all!
